This Privacy Policy explains how Tatv.Zoomi, a ride-hailing service operated by Tattva Energy Fintech LLP (LLPIN AAQ-8419), with its registered office at B-108, Sarvodaya Enclave, New Delhi 110017, India (“Tatv.Zoomi”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our mobile and web applications and related services (the “Platform”).
We are committed to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described here.
This policy applies to riders who book trips, drivers who provide trips, and visitors to our apps and sites.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account & profile | Email address and/or mobile number, name, profile photo (optional), and for drivers: vehicle details, registration/plate, and verification documents. |
| Location | Precise GPS location of riders (to set pickup and show nearby cars) and drivers (to match, navigate, and track trips), including while the app runs in the background during an active trip or while a driver is online. |
| Camera & photos | Photos a driver captures for the mandatory vehicle-cleanliness check; optional profile photos. |
| Trip & usage | Pickup/drop locations, routes, fares, timestamps, ratings, cancellations, ride history, and in-app communications. |
| Payment | Payment method type and transaction status. Card/UPI details are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers. |
| Device & technical | Device model, OS, app version, IP address, identifiers, and diagnostic logs. |
We process location, camera, and notifications only with the permissions you grant on your device, and you can change them in your device settings. Disabling certain permissions (for example, location) may prevent core features (such as booking a ride or going online as a driver) from working.
We do not sell your personal data.
Riders’ location is used to set pickup and find nearby cars. Drivers’ location is collected while online and during trips, including in the background, to enable matching, navigation, live tracking, and safety. You can turn location off at any time in device settings; some features will then be unavailable.
The driver app periodically requires a quick photo of the vehicle (interior and exterior) to confirm cleanliness for riders. These images are used to assess and record compliance, are retained for a limited period, and are not used for advertising.
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Platform and to meet legal, tax, accounting, safety, and dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Subject to the DPDP Act, you may request to access, correct, update, or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. To make a request or raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer below. You may also escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided by law.
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Our web app uses local storage and a service worker to keep you signed in, remember saved places, and work offline as an installable app. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
In accordance with the DPDP Act and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, our Grievance Officer can be reached at:
